The vision of Isizwe Setjhaba Special School is to create a harmless and favourable teaching and learning environment through effective and specialised education, ensuring each student exits with the knowledge, skills and dignity that will give them the best chance of reaching their full potential in adult life.

To facilitate maximum intellectual, interpersonal and skills development for each individual learner daily by implementing the skills of specialised educators, therapists and assistants, soliciting the support of parents and the community and securing and managing appropriate physical resources in order to send well-prepared adolescents into adult life taking individual challenges into account.

Isizwe Setjhaba Special School, located in Vereeniging, is a wheelchair-accessible institution affiliated with ISASA, boasting a team of highly trained professionals specializing in special education.

Our mission is to unlock each student’s potential, providing them with top-tier education that prepares them to be active, contributing members of society. We welcome students aged 5-18 years.

Our pupils might face challenges stemming from low vision, cochlear implants, epilepsy, motor vehicle accidents, birth trauma, genetic disorders, dyslexia, medical conditions, or general developmental delays.
